This means the vehicle is always started and stopped with normal mineral diesel fuel from the manufacturer fitted fuel tank. When the engine reaches normal operating temperature about 65 degrees Celcium then the vegetable oil system can be activated by a switch located in front of the driver. This stops automatically the diesel fuel and starts vegetable oil fuel. About 10 minutes before the end of every journey the engine is switched back to diesel fuel. In this case the car always starts and stops with normal diesel fuel which prevents the engine from difficult starting and any other problems associated with running on oil. • Ideal for long journeys.
